A FLOURISHING VISION

Abi and Tim’s wedding was like an ode to timeless elegance, combining the historical beauty of Florence with the luxury of Palazzo Gondi. The vision was to create an unforgettable experience where romance seamlessly merged with modernity.

The atmosphere could be described as an enchanting passion that was felt by all of the guests, this was heightened by the spectacular city view from Palazzo Gondi's terrace. The autumnal lights of the sunset became the perfect backdrop for aperitifs that captured the essence of the city. Abi and Tim decided on a palette of white and green, with hints of peach and pearl.

THE POWER OF FLOWERS

For the floral arrangements, white roses, gypsophila, white lisianthus, and green details were chosen. The bride's bouquet, along with those of the bridesmaids and the boutonnieres of the groom and groomsmen, were all coordinated for a seamless look. Gypsophila was used in the ceremony space to create a delicate effect whilst the white flowers and green foliage emitted an intricate fragrance, creating a fresh and elegant atmosphere. The floral arrangements transformed every corner of the celebration into an ode to natural beauty.

The florals were complemented by the pearl coloured tablecloths and the soft candlelit rustic spaces to create a magical and timeless atmosphere, bringing out the enchanting allure of Florence.

BOWS, BEAUTY & BOLDNESS

Abi wore an elegant white wedding dress by Monique Lhuillier, a statement of style and sophistication. Characterised by a cut that delicately exposed her back, it imparted an aura of pure grace to Abi. The showstopper for this dress was the oversized bow strategically placed to create a sumptuous train that moved with grace down the aisle. The veil, delicately applied over Abi’s’s head, added an element of romanticism and mystique. This ensemble embodied timeless elegance, celebrated classic beauty and modern boldness, blending the traditional with the contemporary in a way that left an indelible impression on the whole wedding party. Abi’s bridesmaids wore simple but elegant peach-colored satin dress that complemented the theme of the day perfectly.

After some heartfelt tears and a couple of ‘I Do’s’, everyone enjoyed a relaxed atmosphere embracing all the beautiful scenery around whilst sipping some Hugo Spritz (an Italian classic) on the rooftop. The colours of the sunset bounced down in vibrant lights whilst the music entertainment of a string trio brought life to the party for a magical evening. After the main wedding breakfast, the star of the show wowed all the guests, a delicious wild berry mille-feuille which was made on the spot to be enjoyed and served on the terrace.

WE DECIDED TO SURPRISE OUR GUESTS AND TAKE ON THE ROLE OF CHEFS TO HELP WITH THE MAKING OF THE DESSERT, IT WAS SO MUCH FUN AND OUR FAMILIES LOVED IT!
