REAL WEDDING

READ THE ROMANCE

Lucy and Lewis met each other as many modern couples do, through Tinder! As their love flourished, Lewis took Lucy to surprise view in the Lake District where they had gone for walks many times. This time it was for a romantically scenic proposal with the iconic Catbells standing tall as the perfect backdrop.

Sum Up The Day In Three Words

FUN | CARNAGE | EMOTIONAL

BORN, BRED, LIVED, LOVED

Lucy loved the process of planning the day until the last month where things started to get a little hectic, (not to mention it was on New Years Eve!) but Lewis eventually started chipping in about 6 weeks beforehand! Lucy gave him a rating of 7/10, not too shabby.

They planned to tie the knot in the city where they were born, bred, worked and loved.. Manchester City. With urban city-scapes and surrounded by their nearest and dearest, Lucy and Lewis decided what better place to have their NYE black tie ball than the celebrated Midland Hotel.

TRY AND ENJOY THE PROCESS AS MUCH AS YOU CAN, JUST THINK YOU’LL NEVER EVER DO THIS AGAIN. EMBRACE ALL OF IT AND REMEMBER ANY MISTAKES THAT HAPPEN, IT’S ONLY YOU WHO WILL NOTICE BECAUSE NO ONE ELSE KNOWS THE PLAN!

LUCY, THE BRIDE

SERVING LOOKS

Lucy went for a timelessly classic look that had a simple styled but a high split for a touch of edge, paired with a faux fur cropped coat to keep her warm during the snowy season but still looking elegant. Then going from the maxi to the mini, Lucy wowed the crowd with a hand made mini dream dress that show off a bit more of her wild side. We’re talking ostrich feathers, shoulder pads, that unforgettable bow and Swarovski crystals.

Lewis matched Lucy’s vibe with a tailed suit in the back with a white tie in the front, so chic. Both of them looked so stylish and dapper, truly a Great Gatsby feeling with a modern twist.

THE FIRST DANCE

TOG DREAM TEAM

Camilla Lucinda Photography captured the day perfectly with a mixture of candid and structured shots that tell a story of the love felt on the day. Whilst Lune De Miel Studio created movie magic and encapsulated the day to be remembered forever, they also get an extra gold star as they stayed until midnight on New Years Eve at no extra cost to make sure they caught everything on video!

FLORISTRY, ARTISTRY

Lucy and Lewis opted for fresh florals for their endearing crisp smell and had Verdure Floral Design execute this masterpiece of a display. Verdure also do the Midland Hotel’s Christmas decorations too so they knew they were in good hands. Lucy said that it was so reassuring to use a supplier that was already familiar with the venue.

JETTING OFF

After a day of fun and fabulous celebrations the next day Lucy and Lewis welcomed in 2024 with a month long honeymoon in Thailand, I’m not jealous, you are!
