REAL WEDDING
READ THE ROMANCE
After being set up on a blind date and going out to comedy club (rookie mistake for a first date!), Beth and Dan hit it off immediately, with the comedian cracking jokes about them all night long, their love flourished. Now, eight years, one dog and a beautiful baby girl later they are now joined in matrimony.
A MOMENT TO SHARE
At a family weekend away to Filey in a quaint beach hut by the bay, Dan popped the question with a little helper for courage. As they were on a family walk, Dan got down on one knee with their daughter Millie and he said “Millie has a question to ask you… Will you marry Daddy?”. Of course Beth’s heart throbbed, it was simply perfect for her and a moment she’ll never forget.
During the planning process, Beth found a new lease of life and would love to be a party planner! It didn’t come without its stresses but Beth loved every minute of it, Dan just smiled, nodded and agreed with all of her styling choices.
THE VIBE
Whimsically romantic, combined with elements of fun!
THE VENUE
Beth and Dan fell head over heels for Runa Farm, saying that there is nothing quite like it, a true rustic masterpiece that epitomises cozy vibes only. The wow factor for them was the iconic ceremony room, they felt so many of the right emotions walking into the room, awe, amazement and sheer joy! The flow of the venue was also a must, they loved how the reception room, bar area and outdoor area all flow into one so everyone can be a part of the party.
A CONGA OF LOVE
Beth and Dan give all their thanks to the amazing team of staff at Runa Farm, they were attentive, understanding and so much fun! They even joined in on the conga train during the iconic and surprising Singing Waiters set.
THE DRESS
Beth went to none other than Alice Elizabeth Bridal in Coxhoe, an infamous Guest List Member, and she had no idea what she wanted. The staff were so helpful with showing her different styles and ultimately choosing THE dress for Beth.
THE DRESS ANDREA CHOSE ... THAT WAS THE ONE! IT WAS JUST PERFECT IN EVERY WAY! THE TRAIN, THE LACE, THE FIT. IT WAS EVERYTHING I HAD DREAMED OF AND SO MUCH MORE! COMBINED WITH MY LONG, SPARKLY VEIL IT REALLY WAS PERFECT! BETH, THE BRIDE
FEEDING THE VILLAGE
First | A relaxed and classic wedding breakfast chosen by Beth and Dan at their private tasting session with Runa Farm.
Seconds | As night drew in, a pizza party arose (as it usually does) with a pizza and pimp your own fries area!
Thirds | Accompanying their beautiful wedding cake, a whole desert table bursting with sweet treats like brownies, cupcakes and caramel slices, something for everyone to enjoy!
SUPER SNAPPERS
Beth met Belle Studio, another Guest List superstar, at a Runa Farm open day, she fell in love with their cracking banter and knew from that moment that she was going to feel so comfortable having them photograph the day. They truly captured the sheer joy that Beth and Dan felt on the day!
QUICK Q&A
Favourite image and why?
There are far too many images to chose from! Faye and Davy captured the love and joy of our day so perfectly. However, if we had to chose, our favourite images would be the ones of us walking down the aisle, with Millie, as the new Mr & Mrs Taylor.
Sum up your whole wedding experience in three words…
unforgettable | PARTY | magical
How did you feel as you walked down the aisle?
‘”Please don't fall... please don't fall!” Haha! Honestly, those stairs are not as scary as they look!
It was just so surreal. Everyone we loved coming together in one room to witness us get married - it was like we were living in a dream. It was just magical. Looking at Daniel, crying at the end of the aisle is a moment I will never forget!
