Eleisha and Andrew met in a natural way, she was a glass collector, he was a rugby boy and enjoyed a pint or two after the matches. The pair had an instant connection, and following a few dates their relationship was a solid force to be reckoned with.

MAKING A FAVOURITE PLACE SPECIAL

Andrew popped the question to Eleisha by one of her favourite places, Druridge Bay. A place where Eleisha would walk her lovable pooch Wilma often, the blissful scenery and calm atmosphere was the perfect spot to cement their love during a winter walk on the sandy dunes. It completely took Eleisha by surprise, but it couldn’t have been more perfect for her (and Wilma of course!)

THE VIBE

Andrew handed the styling reins to Eleisha for this one and she absolutely smashed it. A funky, retro romantic vibe with bouncy vibrant florals to complement. The disco ball tablescapes, the beautiful bright stationery and the whole aesthetic was put together by the bride. Eleisha loved every minute of it, she even went as far as to say that she didn’t find any part of the planning stressful, just sad that it’s now over. Her styling spirit was truly set free for her big day!

THE DRESS

Eleisha thought she would want a lacy, floaty style dress that under no circumstances could be strapless. She visited Accent Original in Newcastle, one of our iconic Guest List boutiques, and she didn’t look back. Anna, was so helpful and showed Eleisha all the styles and silhouettes until she pulled out THE dress, a plain satin, fit and flare strapless gown. Eleisha also gave Gayle an honourable mention, she did all the alterations in-house and in Eleisha’s words “she is a magician with a needle!”

WHEN WE WERE DRESS SHOPPING THE DRESS HAD TO PASS TWO CHECKS - COULD I SIT DOWN AND COULD I DANCE - AND IT PASSED WITH FLYING COLOURS!

What’s your funniest memory from the day?

Andrew losing his wedding ring on the dance floor after only having it on for less than 12 hours, luckily it was found behind the DJ booth!
