This stunning wedding in Italy is giving us all the wedding wanderlust. Blue skies, crystal waters, incredible views across the landscape beneath – what could be better? For Leanne and Shaun, their dream Italian wedding came to fruition thanks to the help of esteemed Guest List wedding planner, Marriage Made in Italy. Sharon helped this couple through all the complications of tying the knot abroad, to create a seamless stress-free celebration that encapsulated their love so majestically.

The proposal was traditional but different, a theme of this wedding, as Shaun took Leanne to the magnificent Maldives, a fabulous dinner and a romantic stroll down the white beaches, Shaun still didn't pop the question. He waited until Leanne was in bed, PJ's on and with a face mask on to pop the question. But, Leanne was so shocked by the beauty of her ring that she even forgot to say the all important word, YES!

SPEED IS KEY

With a quick turn around time of 18 months for the couple, they couldn’t have been more thankful for their wedding planner, Sharon from Marriage Made in Italy who took their vision and put in the hard work to make it come to life. With a pizza party the night before, the actual wedding and a private boat trip along the Amalfi Coast the next day to plan, Leanne found it overwhelming in the months leading up, but Sharon was to the rescue. With her expertise, knowledge of suppliers and fluent in Italian, Leanne and Shaun were in safe hands, all they had to do was turn up on time.. or fashionably late like Leanne.

TEARS OF JOY

For Leanne and Shaun’s reception, they booked Villa Eva before even seeing it in person. Once they got there to see it for the first time, Leanne broke down into tears at the shear beauty of the venue and described it as “so incredibly magical”. The star of the show were the luscious gardens an florals surrounding the Villa which meant there was no need for further styling, simply just the dinner table, sounds like a dream.

DOING THINGS ITALIAN STYLE

Leanne’s bouquet planning was simple but stressful.. she gave her vision and vibe to the florist and then it was out of her hands and she felt pretty nervous as I think we all would! But Leanne trusted it would be beautiful and we’ll let the bouquet speak for itself, the execution was immaculate. And it was all down to Sharon, the wedding planner, with her curated list of suppliers that only features the best of the best. 

After tying the knot with their closest friends and family, no tears at this wedding just pure bliss, they all strolled through the classic Italian streets with a pitstop in the town square for some refreshments and a perfect photo-op. The Videographer and Gino the photographer added an extra level of enjoyment to the day, they made sure both Leanne and Shaun were comfortable throughout the day and made sure they both looked their best selves.

LET’S TALK FASHION

Leanne and Shaun’s vision for their outfits was “traditional but different” and we think they hit the nail on the head. With Leanne’s full skirt satin moment it was a classic silhouette but the cutout at the front gives it that edge. Shaun’s tailored suit is a traditional option but the bold evergreen colour makes him a trendsetter for all those to come.

WHAT’S THE BEST PART ABOUT ITALY?

The Food! One of the reasons Leanne and Shaun chose to wed in Italy was because of the mouth-watering food that is traditional in Italy. In Italy it is traditional to serve a 5 course meal, get ready for the run-down..
