Having six months to plan their wedding after a Covid cancellation in 2020, Rebecca and Daniel enjoyed a sublime September soirée that seemed anything but rushed. The rustic-luxe paradise of Grangefields in Derbyshire provided a backdrop of corrugated iron and on-trend tranquility to play out their day with sheer perfection.
Not wanting to detract from the venue’s natural beauty the couple decided to keep styling simple, opting for white florals and greenery for a simplistic palate to compliment the effortlessly chic aesthetic of Grangefields’ spaces. Traditional black tie fashion was the order of the day, with bridesmaids dazzling in soft satin taupe dresses and groomsmen serving suave style in black tuxes and pleated dress shirts.

From the outdoor festoon-lit courtyard to the imposing Dutch Barn and disco-ball-decked party room, the celebrations flowed seamlessly from space to space and sublime food and drinks came to the fore. A locally-sourced lamb feast was served on the outdoor Asado grill as guests arrived, succulent beef canapés with salsa verde dip did the rounds as sun poured through the glass-fronted Dutch Barn for a sumptuous late-summer golden hour glow, before a ‘jäger train’ (over 200 jäger bombs) on the sprawling bar fuelled the evening’s events.
