Laura and Stephen met as young lovers in their 20s and created a loving family before deciding to tie the knot, creating a little audience of their own for their big day. Laura already knew the ins and outs of weddings as she is from the events industry herself, therefore she wanted something truly classic that she can look back on full-heartedly.
A MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN
Laura and Stephen knew they wanted to get married at Woodhill from the moment they saw it, they had one viewing and booked it without viewing anywhere else, it was love at first sight.
THE DAY
Woddhill is an exclusive wedding venue which Laura and Stephen loved, they could invite their close family up the night before to enjoy a fresh in-house meal and a bottle of fizz. Then on the big day, surrounded by the stunning scenery of the Northumberland countryside, they entered the Olive House for the ceremony. Floor to ceiling windows, floral-filled chandeliers and a grecian archway, so Santorini-esque vibes.
After the momentary kiss to seal it all, Laura and Stephen moved from the Olive House to the Conservatory for a wedding breakfast to top all wedding breakfasts. The menu was mouth-watering, from Thai style fish cakes to beef fillet followed by a palette cleansing champagne sorbet. To top it all off, they finished with an eton mess or sticky toffee pudding, anyone for seconds?
DOUBLE TROUBLE
Laura And Stephen's signature drinks for the day was Mojitos & Moretti, a dynamic duo.
To dance the night away Laura, Stephen and their guests headed for the Tipi to get their groove on and celebrate a fabulous day. They loved moving around the venue, they said it was like having three venues in one, which gave Laura and Stephen's guests freedom to roam and romance.

What advice would you give to brides shopping for THE dress?
My advice is remember it’s your wedding, your body and your dress – don’t be swayed by other people’s opinions.

Sarah my wedding coordinator from Woodhill, she was with me from the moment of booking right up until the big day, she was so professional and her work on the day did not go unnoticed.
MY ADVICE IS DON’T RUSH THE PROCESS ENJOY THE PLANNING STAGES PLENTY DEEP BREATHS WHEN HICCUPS OCCUR & STAY BY TRUE TO YOURSELF DON’T BE SWAYED BY ANYONE’S ELSE OPINIONS.
