PIER PROPOSALS

After meeting at their workplace, Michael and Christina began a love story to rival the most magical fairytales. Fast-forward to their engagement, Michael got down on one knee at Tynemouth Pier where they had their first date. Their families were lined up leading to the pier, with everyone person handing a photograph to Christina of a memory from her relationship. At the end of the lines, were Michael and the kids waiting to pop the question!

CLARION CONTEMPORARY

They knew that the Clarion Hotel was the venue for them as soon as they discovered it during one of their Christmas showcases. The Clarion Hotel is a tried and trusted Belle Bridal Venue Guestlister that boasts exquisite style and luxury accomodation. A botanical theme fits the contemporary vibe of the Clarion perfectly, so that’s just what Christina and Michael did. They (well, mainly Christina) chose eucalyptus leaves and white roses throughout, with Belle Bridal Guestlister’s Wild and Wonderful transforming the space into a floral fantasy.

When it came to styling the bridal party, the bridesmaids accessories were decorated with gypsophila, peonies, hydrangeas and bits of green and gold foliage. Petal perfection if you ask us.

I WOULD RECOMMEND THE VENUE AS THE STAFF WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO ENSURE THAT EVERYTHING WENT TO PLAN. NOTHING WAS TOO MUCH FOR THEM AND WE HONESTLY FELT SO SPECIAL THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE DAY. THE RELATIONSHIPS THEY HAVE BUILT WITH OTHER SUPPLIERS ENSURED THAT THE VENUE WAS DECORATED TO THE HIGHEST OF STANDARDS AND ABSOLUTELY BLEW US AWAY.

How did you find THE dress to say ‘I do’ in?

 It's true what they say you know when you know, and there is no point trying to find anything else when you have that feeling. I always knew that I wanted a mermaid style dress as this suited my figure the best as I'm quite small and a big dress would have swamped me.

Favourite image and why?

Me and Michael signing the register, he is looking at me with the most love and admiration I have ever seen. Everytime I look at that photo I can see how much he truly loves me and how happy he is.

What’s your funniest memory from the day?

Opening bottles of Prosecco that we got as presents as no-one wanted to go to bed and the bar had stopped serving! We made sure we left the cards in the bags though so we knew who they were off! Also the best mans speech and my sisters (MOH) speech were epic.
