This real wedding at Rudding Park is one of our favourites, such a beautiful fun-filled celebration!

After Vanessa and Jason crossed paths, they immediately knew they would spend the rest of their lives together. 

Receiving every girls dream proposal, Jason asked Vanessa to marry him at the gorgeous hotel, One & Only The Palm, on a beautiful holiday to Dubai back in September 2018.  

With just under a year to plan their special day, the preparations for the biggest day of their lives filled with love, laughter and good music, began straight away. However, according to the Vanessa, Jason was pretty elusive when it came to the planning process! We know best anyway, isn't that right bride tribe? 

Rudding Romance: 

Having attended one of Rudding Park's esteemed wedding fairs and witnessing a snap shot of its luxury, stature and undeniable romance, Vanessa and Jason were completely sold on the venue. 

Set in 300 acres of landscaped gardens and woodland, this breath-taking privately-owned hotel offered everything and more for bride-to-be Vanessa and her groom. 

As friends and family took their seats in the gorgeous 19th century on-site chapel, this stunning venue was certainly dressed to impress.

From dramatic blossom trees overlooking the ceremony, to red rose petals bordering the grand aisle, Rudding Park in all its wedding glory provided the most beautiful backdrop for those all-important photo opportunities.  

“I absolutely LOVE Rudding Park. We wanted a romantic and pretty look, styled with pale tones and blush pink colours.” - Vanessa 

In fact, this effervescent couple adore Rudding so much that they are currently living in one of the self catering holiday cottages while their new home at Harrogate gets renovated. They can't stay away! 

Boasting a spectacular opulence and grand interiors fit with oversized flowers by The Angel Events, both Vanessa and Jason had a wedding day they would never forget.

Their most memorable moment however wasn't the stunning interiors, but walking out of the chapel hand-in-hand to their guests cheering in the searing sunshine as they looked forwards to the celebrations ahead. 

Fun First: 

On that front, Vanessa and Jason threw quite the party.

These newly-weds have already been married, and therefore made it their mission to steer away from seriousness and focus more on having some pure, feel-good fun. 

Following the ceremony, guests revelled in the sunshine on the lawn with champagne and canapés, before indulging in an outdoor BBQ and dancing the night away to an Ibiza-themed DJ set. 

BELLE LOVES:

Forget the typical bride and groom photoshoot – Vanessa and Jason let their bubbly, fun-loving personalities shine through as they donned shades and sipped champagne for their snaps. We love their vibe! 

The Wedding Gown: 

“I always dreamt of wearing a Suzanne Neville dress.” - Vanessa 

During a trip to London, Vanessa was walking in her late father's favourite place in the capital, Beauchamp Place, where she came across her dream Suzanne Neville dress in a shop window. 

Busy with thoughts of her dad, Vanessa interpreted this strike of fate as her father chivvying her up and urging her to try the dress on – so, she duly obliged, and it was perfect. 

The bride stepped out in a divine Suzanne Neville gown, complete with bardot neckline and delicate waistline detailing.

While the button-up back brought class and beauty, Vanessa’s elegant look was complemented by her ivory rose bouquet and intricately embellished hairpiece – offset by the heart-warming story behind her dream gown. 

Photographer Love: 

Providing a vast amount of knowledge and extensive expertise in wedding photography, the couple opted for Lee Scullion Photography to capture the events of the day through his stunning imagery.

Encapsulating the couples unique love story, Lee Scullion Photography offered a timeless and refined style when photographing their Rudding Park wedding.
