Laura and James' wedding celebration was one to remember. After meeting through mutual friends at university, it was their shared love of Formula One that brought Laura and James together. Although they remained friends for a few years, James asked Laura out on a first date where they quickly realised, they would become more than just friends. 

James proposed in the beautiful setting of the German Alps and with Laura immediately saying yes, they began planning the wedding day of their dreams.

Wed at Wylam:

An idyllic location, set in the surroundings of Newcastle’s Exhibition Park, Wylam Brewery promised the tranquillity of the countryside combined with a city centre location.

Boasting a rustic aesthetic along with a classic edge, Laura and James tied the knot beneath the magnificent dome ceiling – elegance never looked so good.

Opting for a Brewery to say their I Do’s, their love for beer became a running theme throughout their wedding.

Belle Bride:

“It was the first one I tried on! I picked a dress I never thought I’d buy as a warm up dress and fell in love with it. Nothing else came close after that.” - Laura

Laura walked the sweeping staircase in a stunning fishtail gown, decorated in a beautiful luxe lace and intricate embellished detailing, adding glamour and charm to their wonderland wedding.

The brides picture-perfect look was complemented by her subtle makeup, pin-up hairstyle and blushing bridesmaids, dressed in pink and purple hues.

Laura’s Advice:

“Make sure to get a good photographer, as the pictures are the only part of the day that last. Also, try and stick together throughout the day, so many people will want to talk to you both but it’s yours and your partners day so make sure you enjoy it together.”
