Jenny and Mark first crossed paths around fourteen years ago when they met through mutual friends at university. Although, Jenny is a self-confessed worrier, it was always Mark’s laidback attitude that gave the couple the perfect balance throughout their relationship.

To guarantee the best atmosphere on their wedding day, the bride and groom-to-be knew that live music from start to finish was an absolute must!

‘Cool, Quirky and One of a Kind’

After exchanging vows in the traditional church setting, the newlyweds and their guests celebrated the night away at Jesmond’s ‘most beautiful bar and restaurant’, As You Like It.

Set across three sprawling floors and featuring stunning bars along with an elegant garden terrace, Jenny and Mark watched their dream wedding come to life before them.

“We didn’t need to create a theme, as the venue is already so nicely decorated.” - Jenny

Surrounded by a luxurious laidback atmosphere, their chosen venue provided the perfect space for their tastefully traditional wedding, fit with botanical décor, wooden features and draped fairy lights.

The Dream Dress:

“I always knew I wanted a shorter dress and once I found House of Mooshki online, I fell in love with many of their tea-length dresses. I knew ‘Dottie’ was the one from the moment I tried it on!” - Jenny

The bride walked the aisle in a beautiful vintage inspired gown, enhanced with a mesh polka dot overlay and delicate satin bow tied at the waist.

Jenny looked a vision in this fit and flare style, with fitted bodice and full skirt, as she paired her bridal look with a stunning embellished hairband and emerald green shoes, matching her bridesmaids perfectly.

What a Picture:
