Ellingham Hall : Joanna and Fraser's Two-Day Celebration
“We can’t think of anything that would have made the day any better.”
After meeting at work, in Cardiff, Joanna and Fraser quickly realised they were more than just friends. Their relationship soon blossomed and after a magical proposal, the couple decided they would tie the knot - in less than a year!

Although they had a short engagement, Joanna and Fraser knew exactly what they wanted and were never short of ideas when it came to planning their special day.
Dreaming of a laid-back wedding, with their ceremony and reception celebrations taking place all in one venue, the bride and groom-to-be opted for the impossibly beautiful Ellingham Hall to say I Do.
Exclusive Ellingham Hall:

‘The most beautiful, exclusive venue in Northumberland’
Elegant and unforgettable - the enchanting grounds, magical setting and exquisite interiors of Ellingham Hall ticked every box for the couple.

Boasting a boutique luxe, combining old world charm with modern day luxury, Ellingham Hall’s picture-perfect backdrop stole both Joanna and Fraser’s hearts from the moment they saw it.
“Although we weren’t initially looking for a two-day venue, having everyone stay in the hall for two nights ended up being really special and the morning of the wedding was very relaxed - we would definitely recommend Ellingham Hall!” - Joanna
Looking on from white rustic chairs, Joanna and Fraser’s guests gathered to watch the couple exchange vows.

Surrounded by gold accents and wooden features, the floor to ceiling windows and statement chandeliers complemented the theme beautifully.
Wedding Attire:
With only six months before the big day, this “indecisive bride” had no time to waste on choosing the wedding gown of her dreams.

“After a lot of Pinterest and ‘Say Yes to the Dress’, I was able to narrow it down to what I wanted.” - Joanna
The bride graced the aisle in a beautiful Willowby by Watters gown, with delicate embroidery detailing and a corset style bodice.
Joanna teamed her look with a dramatic, hand wrapped rose bouquet, while Fraser stepped out in a red velvet suit jacket and patterned tie.

The Groom’s Advice:
“I found it really useful to put my speech together using flash cards, with a different heading for every section I needed to cover. By doing this, it made it really easy to order into a structure that worked well.
Sneaking into the empty room in the morning, to practice, also helped a lot with nerves!”
