READ THE ROMANCE

Opting for the beautiful Foxtail Barns in Stoke-on-Trent, this couple kept styling simple letting the light-filled Orangery speak for itself. Neutrals and whites were combined with hanging foliage to create a calming, dreamy aesthetic in the party barn, a contemporary industrial design with magnificent glazed panelling, while their ceremony was hosted in the Orangery with its gorgeous sprawling glass walls.

Liv and Nico chose to style the venue themselves, simply adding vases, pearl table runners, dried flowers and candlesticks to create an epic ambience.

THAT DRESS

When it came to her gown, Liv had that damning experience of trying on over 11 gowns to no avail. Cue glamour experts Charlotte Elizabeth Bridal in Matlock, Derbyshire, who let Liv pick her favourite styles – the first was a breathtaking ballgown from Vera Wang’s newest collection, and her heart was stolen.

THIS WAS THE FIRST DRESS I TRIED ON, AND I JUST LOVED IT.

LIV, THE BRIDE

Having such a statement gown Liv opted for a less is more approach with her accessories. Simple gold hoop earrings, a veil for the ceremony and a large pearl headpiece completed her look in fabulous fashion.

Q&A

How did you feel as you walked down the aisle?

Nervous to start with but it was such a chilled happy atmosphere I ended up just feeling so happy and excited.

How involved was Nico in the planning process?

More hands-on than I thought! He designed and printed all of the name places and all of our welcome board/signs as well as other things!

Funniest memory from the day?

The registrar not being able to pronounce our name at the altar, or me nearly tipping the cake over whilst cutting it!

Best part of the day?

Walking outside after being married to everyone happy, throwing confetti and drinking pimms in the sunshine!

Sum up your whole wedding in three words…

Best, Day, Ever!
