Jenny and Ryan tied the knot with a sublime ceremony at St Stephens Church in Skipton followed by a joyous affair at the Grade-I listed Barden Tower at The Priests House. 

After proposing on a beach in Mallorca at sunset (lucky girl, Jenny!), these childhood sweethearts had a clear vision for how they wanted their big day to look – autumnal, natural and laidback.

Without further ado, they picked a venue that epitomised those qualities – the historic Grade I listed Barden Tower at The Priests House in North Yorkshire. This magnificent 15th century building is one of the most historic Yorkshire civil wedding venues steeped in romanticism and charm, offering incredible views of the Yorkshire Dales. 

The Luxe Details 

When it came to styling they worked with the venue’s wedding team to evoke a soft and subtle theme of autumn colours with oranges, burgundies, creams and greens. The personable elements were what really brought this set up together – each table was a country where Jenny and Ryan had visited, signposted with a small flag on the table, and Jenny made the napkin rings with a maple leaf design. 

Jenny dazzled in a boho beautiful two piece from Abbey’s Wedding Warehouse in Leeds, offering a laidback luxe approach for a modern bride who knows her vibe and isn’t afraid to say ‘no’ to the customary dress.

Having been recommended the talents of Kristie from Daze Photography by a friend, Ryan and Jenny picked this Yorkshire snapper to capture their most treasured moments, and it was a decision that well and truly paid off.

Emotive and colourful, her imagery painted the picture of their day so magnificently.
