Can you tell us a bit about what you offer brides, pre- and post-wedding?
Pre-wedding hair and make-up planning is absolutely vital. At the salon, we offer facials, including dermaplaning, which are guaranteed to have a bride’s skin looking its very best ahead of the day. We also share our tried-and-tested tips and tricks with brides so that they can recreate the look at home. In terms of hair, we can see our brides-to-be for cuts, colours and extensions, as well as for general advice on how we can achieve their dream wedding hair for the main event.
We’ve heard you’ve launched into hair and beauty products – can you share any details about the ranges you’ve developed?
So I now have my own haircare range! It’s for all hair types, including extensions. It’s argan oil-based, has all-natural ingredients, and the range is completely vegan. I’ve also launched my own line of strip lashes. They’re specifically designed for brides: not too heavy, and great for shaping eyes and finishing off any big-day look. And, as a bonus, they’re completely reusable too!
What’s your number-one, wow-factor treatment for brides-to-be?
Hands down, it has to be the Million Dollar Facial. This medical-grade facial includes a 10-step protocol, including the all-important dermaplane. Dermaplaning exfoliates skin to reveal the fresh, plump smoother complexion underneath. This procedure guarantees more polished, long-lasting make-up application, which is ideal for your wedding day.
What make-up products would you never leave the house without?
This changes from season to season, but never without our own medical-grade SPF and primer, and a great setting spray.
Any new services that readers should know about?
Well, it’s not a brand-new service but it is a brand-new advanced technique for brows! My new semi-permanent brows are much softer and less abrasive than the old style; the technique’s great for shaping the brows and allows me to go over old existing brow work. It’s a really quick process and relatively pain free.
IDEALLY, I’D SEE MY BRIDES THREE MONTHS BEFORE THEIR BIG DAY SO THEY CAN GET THE MOST OUT OF OUR SERVICES. THEIR HAIR AND MAKE-UP TRIAL IS NORMALLY BOOKED IN FOR SIX WEEKS BEFORE THE WEDDING DATE.
