THE NIGHT BEFORE
3pm - Arrive with your party and check into the stone-built cottages and pods, homely havens with a neutral luxe aesthetic
THE COOP
Brand new for 2023, couples have the option of staying in The Coop, Doxford’s new boutique night-before suite sleeping up to eight and boasting a dressing area, luxury lounge and kitchen. Your very own little private bolthole.
5pm - Chat through the final details with your wedding coordinator before enjoying a drink at the bar as guests arrive
7pm - Hungry? A hearty Northumbrian meal is served in The Cart Shed to enjoy with family and friends before retiring to your cottages for a blissful night’s sleep

THE CEREMONY
9:30pm - Suppliers arrive to set up while the bride and her maids get pampered with breakfast delivered to the door. Morning mimosas anyone?
12pm - The bar opens where the groom can mingle with guests and enjoy a nerve-easing nip of whiskey before heading to the stunning ceremony space, The Threshing Hall
BARNSTORMING BEAUTY
Dating back to the 18th century this inspiring space has an unforgettable ambience with festoon lighting and the most gorgeous overhead trajectory for perfect pictures.
1pm - Ready for the ultimate aisle entrance? The bride can journey straight from The Coop, down the brand new purpose built staircase and onto the aisle. Minimum wind-ruining-hair moments, maximum impact.
THE CELEBRATION
1:30pm - Get that customary confetti shot down the olive tree-lined walkway before enjoying an outdoor drinks reception on the sun-soaked courtyard, with canapés, free-flowing fizz and flawless countryside views
3:15pm - Guests are seated in The Great Barn for the newlyweds entrance and speeches before the food offerings begin
EAT, DRINK AND BE MARRIED
Craft your very own marriage menu reflecting you and your tastes with the Doxford culinary team, from lavish three-course meals to quirky street food and personalised cocktails.
6pm - Hearts and stomachs full, tea and coffees (or espresso martinis, your choice) are served in The Cart Shed while evening guests arrive and The Great Barn is set up for the evening
7:30pm - The cake is cut and the party begins, with carriages at 1am and a honeymoon suite for the happy couple
THE DAY AFTER
10am - Chat, laugh and reminisce on the wedding of the year as all overnight guests enjoy a hearty hangover-curing brunch.
11am - Head back to your rooms, pack your bags and enjoy the last few moments at this country haven
