I WILL, I DO, I DID AT CHARLTON HALL
Imagine a wedding venue that you can return to long after the big day, a place so special you frequent time and time again, reliving your wedding while discovering new delights – that’s exactly what Charlton Hall will become when their brand new 15 bedroom hotel, bar and restaurant opens in 2023, providing the ultimate pre, present and post wedding destination for fashion- forward couples.
THE DAY BEFORE
3:30pm - Journey down beautiful country lanes before reaching the Hall, where a grand stone water fountain might get the early waterworks going.
4pm - Enter the Hall and meet your wedding coordinator, before being shown to your rooms. Brides have the option of staying in the cosy two- bedroom Stable Cottage with three guests, while the groom and guests can choose from the Farmhouse, Farm Cottage, Pole Barn or The Lookout.
5pm - Head out to explore the estate, with a private lake and winding woodland walks on your doorstep.
7pm - Then settle in for the evening with a perfect pre- wed bridal pamper party, with champagne, antipasti, cheese boards, sliders platters and desserts delivered to the Stable Cottage.
BREAKFAST IN BED
Have your breakfast delivered to the Stable Cottage, or a Surprise Bridal Package which includes bottle of Prosecco and chocolate-dipped strawberries with personalised note.

STAYCATION STATIONS
The accommodation at Charlton sleeps up to 54 in total.
THE MORNING OF
8:30am - Enjoy a relaxed morning before heading to The Main House for a breakfast offering everything from a classic Charlton Full English to French Toast and American style pancakes – panoramic countryside views only add to the sweetness.
10am - The venue opens for suppliers to set up and dress the spaces.
12pm - Brides get ready in Stable Cottage before moving to the Main House for last minute hair and makeup touch-ups.
A HELPING HAND
At Charlton, you’re always under the wing. A dedicated wedding coordinator will be on-hand from 8:30am until the venue manager takes over after the ceremony.
THE CEREMONY
12:30pm - The venue and house bar opens, where the groom can mingle with guests and enjoy a nerve-easing nip of whiskey.
1pm - The dress reveal takes place on the landing before walking down the staircase, through the main house and
onto the ceremony room.
1:30pm - Say your vows in the stunning Ceremony Hall with striking geometric floor patterns, period stone fairy-lit walls and a gorgeous botanical backdrop.
THE DRINKS RECEPTION
2pm - Enjoy a moment of alone time at the bar together before walking out of the main doors for that customary confetti shot.
2:15pm - Drinks and canapés are served either in the main house or outside on the oval, with prosecco, champagne, bottles of beer and cocktails available.
SUMMER SESSIONS
Alfresco soirées never looked so good with Charlton’s stately silhouette and sprawling countryside views as a backdrop. Sip up and soak
it in!
THE DINNER
4pm - Your guests will be sat in The Looking Glass before your chosen entrance song announces you into the room as newlyweds.
4:30pm - Dinner is served with a snack to start before speeches followed by staters, mains and desserts.
7pm - As the sun sets and evening guests arrive, head outside for twilight pictures while Charlton’s staff transform The Looking Glass into your private party palace with dance floor and DJ/band setup.
RAISE A GLASS
The Looking Glass at Charlton just reverberates modern romance, with a star-lit ceiling, aztecfloor,state-of-the-art sound system and full 360 glass windows.
THE AFTER PARTY
8pm - You are announced back into the room for your first dance and cake cutting before dancing the night away.
10pm - Opt for a sparkler and fireworks show at the front of the house, before heading back inside for more dancing and evening street food.
12:30am-Don’twant the party to stop? Those staying onsite will be escorted down to The Vaults from 12:30am for pre-ordered drinks and jukebox anthems until 2am.
IT’S SOUND
Soundtrack your day with personalised Spotify playlists played through the speaker system throughout the whole house.
LAST ORDERS: 11:45PM
BAR CLOSES: 12PM
THE DAY AFTER
8:15-10:15am - Chat, laugh and reminisce on the wedding of the year as you enjoy a hearty hangover-curing breakfast, served in the Main House for all overnight guests.
11am - Head back to your rooms, pack your bags and enjoy the last few moments at this country haven.
