What better way to celebrate Caroline and Lewis tying the knot today at Newton Hall, than by sharing their pre-wedding shoot captured by Sean Elliott Photography. If you're wondering whether a pre-wedding shoot is for, then read on, as we chat to Caroline about the whole experience...

Why did you choose to have a pre-wedding shoot?
"We both thought it would be a great chance to get comfortable with Sean and each other in front of the camera. It's not everyday you have a professional photographer taking photos of you, so we wanted to make sure everything would run smoothly in regards to this on our wedding day!"

Would you advise other couples to get a pre-wedding shoot?
"Most definitely! It has made us more confident in front of the camera on our wedding - one less thing to worry about. But also, after receiving the photographs it just made us more excited about what to expect from our day!"

How did you find the experience?
"Very easy and fun. At first we were both quite nervous as we had never done anything like that before, but Sean made us so relaxed and it was great fun chasing the sun. Sean is a lovely guy and an exquisite photographer, so we were at ease straight away, and had a few giggles along the way."

Why did you choose Sean Elliott as your photographer?
"As soon as we met with Sean we were so relaxed and it felt like we had known him for years! He is so easy to get along with, which I think is extremely important in a wedding photographer as they are there to capture one of the most important days of your lives. From seeing the results of our pre-shoot, this definitely is reflected in the images as shortly after we begun, we both relaxed and really enjoyed the shoot."

If there’s one piece of advice you could give other couples what would it be?
"Relax and enjoy it! It really does make the best photographs when you are just being yourself, and definitely don't worry too much about the weather - on the day of our pre-shoot we experienced wind, sun and rain and they resulted in some epic photos. I couldn't recommend it enough (especially with Sean!)."
