Organised (and then unfortunately missed) by Claire from Cumbrian bakery Mama Cakes, photographed by Belle Bridal fave Camilla Lucinda Photography, featuring gowns from esteemed boutique Julia Tasker Bridal, hair styling from Gareth Lambert at Aqua the Salon, and made pretty by our newly recruited #guestlist stylists, Roses and Hearts Carlisle, it’s a showcase of classical bridal beauty executed magnificently from all involved.

Reds and roses, lakes and poses, get ready for timeless elegance of the highest order.

Downton Delights

“The shoot at Kinmount was set up by Claire from Mama Cakes in Cumbria.
She loved the idea of setting up a stylised shoot at a brand new wedding venue that oozed history in a glamorous, modern Downton Abbey kind of way.

Gowns to Match

She chose some elegant gowns from Julia Tasker Bridal to compliment the grander the venue exudes, and gave the rooms a POP with the stunning blue and deep red floral colour scheme.
The night before the shoot Claire, who had put her heart and soul in the styling, unfortunately became ill and asked me to take over running the day, however due to her illness we missed out on photographing her wonderful cake she’d made just for the shoot. We still got her lovely pastel-hued macarons though!

Location Love

There’s not enough hours in the day to truly explore Kinmount and photograph all the beauty is has to offer, but that just means we’ll have to go back to capture the Spanish Steps, Italian Gardens, the boat ride across the South Lake, and the glass fronted Pavilion another day!”
