Helen, Owner and Head Florist at Willow and Bear Floral Design

What I do: Willow and Bear Floral Design is run by me, Helen, a florist based in beautiful York in North Yorkshire.

I like to include as many locally sourced ingredients as possible to create designs that trigger emotions and make wonderful floral memories.

Using sustainable floristry methods enables me to feel more connected with the natural ingredients that I use, as well as doing a small part to run a more sustainable floristry business.

I don’t do ‘normal’ flowers. I create wonderful floral designs full of fun and care with total respect for wonderful ingredients.

My dream wedding would be: Any wedding... I can’t get enough of them!

I never make two designs the same, and look for elements that are both unusual and quirky, adding lots of layers of texture, scent and interest for the wow moments that every wedding needs.

I know I’ve done my job well when the first reaction is a gasp of delight.

One thing I couldn’t live without is: My family.

They support me and the W&B journey every step of the way – that includes my two gorgeous dogs, Mollie the cocker spaniel and Tilly little legs the miniature dachshund!

The first thing I’ll do out of lockdown is: Celebrate the achievements of the past year and keep close the memories of those no longer by our side.

I’m most inspired by: People who are kind, positive and confident in themselves.

I feel so privileged to be around such inspirational people and to pass on the positivity through my happy floral designs."

My dream wedding would be: Classy fairytale winter wedding with everything sparkling - I’m like a magpie to anything that sparkles! Would be amazing to have slow falling snow too...

One thing I couldn’t live without is: Gin... haha! But of course my two babies Macy & Alfie - Miniature dashounds!

The first thing I’ll do out of lockdown is: Grab my girls, go for drinks and hug everyone!

I’m most inspired by: YOU Belle Bridal! I love everything you do and how much you have supported my business so far – thank you!

Sophie Alder, Owner and Designer at Bride By Sophie

What I do is: Make bespoke bridal gowns and accessories on the island of Guernsey. Alongside my own bridal collection and hope to open up a boutique on the beautiful island one day too.

My dream wedding would be: Walking barefoot on a lovely Guernsey beach, late spring, quite an intimate ceremony with an abundance of romance and then a reception filled with all our friends and family, to dance and chat into the early hours.

One thing I couldn’t live without is: The love of my life. With a forehead kiss from him, I'm ready for anything life throws my way!

The first thing I’ll do out of lockdown is: Get all dressed up (lived in leggings most of lockdown!) and go to one of our favourite restaurants, order all the best food and drink wine on the terrace right by the sea (hope the weather is good).

I’m most inspired by: All the strong women in my life.

Amy, Owner at Bellamme Bridal

What I do is: At Bellamme Bridal we make people feel confident and special, bring them memories and give them the best shopping experience possible.

My dream wedding would be:  a romantic wedding on a beach in the Maldives, but as long as I could still have all my friends and family there.

One thing I couldn’t live without is: Love - I know that's cheesy but its ultimately what we are all looking for, from friends, families, partners.

The first thing I’ll do out of lockdown is: Enjoy a glass of fizz on a terrace somewhere with my husband and friends!

I’m most inspired by: Selfless people - we read so much negativity on a daily basis but I am always inspired by how many amazing, strong, kind people there are in this world and it needs to be spoken about more.

Ashleigh, Owner and head MUA at Diva Dust

What I do is: I run DivaDust Professional Makeup Artists and as well as my own work, I have a team of hand picked, fully qualified and insured makeup artists and hair stylists who work with me.

We are bridal makeup specialists and strive to provide a personally tailored service that will ensure you feel at your most beautiful on one of the most important days of your life.

My dream wedding would be: Any wedding morning where the bridal party are in great spirits and happy and excited....

The room is filled with joy and expectation and you can actually feel it in your bones. I love being a part of that.

One thing I couldn’t live without is: My phone! It’s an integral part of my life. Makeup wise I couldn’t live without a peach colour corrector for my dark circles!

The first thing I’ll do out of lockdown is: First things first - I’d go hug my family and friends. I haven’t hugged my Dad in over a year now.

Then I’d get myself all dressed up, makeup, hair, nails, outfit the lot and go OUT OUT.

I’m most inspired by: the kind of people who are brave enough to push boundaries and try new things, be innovative and willing to take a leap of faith.

Work-wise - I’m inspired by makeup artists with originality, talent, attention to detail and perfectionism ... and those who don’t rely on filters and Facetune to make their work look better.

One thing I couldn’t live without is: Diet Coke. What would be the point, honestly?

The first thing I’ll do out of lockdown is: Go to a restaurant! I am so excited for someone else to cook my tea, and not having to clean the kitchen 27 times a day. Heaven!

One thing I couldn’t live without is: It would have to be my decorating tools. I have amassed a selection for specialist tools and even adapted a couple to help create and sculpt the different techniques in the cakes we make.

The first thing I’ll do out of lockdown is: have a weekend away somewhere after such a difficult and exhausting year. I think everyone needs to revive the batteries after all of this.
