Kirsten B is the knight in shining armour your big day bridal makeup never knew it needed. Predominantly working within the North East, North Yorkshire and Northumberland, however can work throughout the UK and abroad for destination weddings.
Armed with a kit filled with all of the latest products and all-time classic cosmetics, makeup maestra Kirsten B brings editorial elegance and edge to all of her work. And with a finger on the pulse of social media, she always knows what’s new and whether it’ll enhance your natural beauty.
With more than eight years’ experience in the industry, collaborating with big brands and training at different makeup and skincare academies, this talented MUA has a super-strong foundation in all aspects of the beauty world. Establishing herself as freelance makeup artist in 2017, she’s never looked back, using her background in illustration and design to give her an artist’s perspective on the craft, giving that extra bit of attention to the finer details that make all the difference.

This is an area she’s always been passionate about, and she provides an end-to-end service that encompasses everything from supercharging your skincare regime from your first meeting, ensuring that your canvas is primed for on-the-day application to a two-hour trial for questions, testing products and learning your likes and dislikes.
With regards to the makeup trial, Kirsten advises that bringing along moodboards and your favourite products help for inspo and an idea of your desired vibe, and that you bring only one other person – multiple opinions can be overwhelming. In terms of time scale, she suggests six to 10 weeks pre-W day is ideal, as you’ll have more of an idea of how the dress will work with your hair and makeup. Kirsten will organise to come to you for the trial, or another convenient location.
