Sitting proudly on the Cartmel Peninsula in the Southern Lakes, The Netherwood is a beautiful Grade-II listed Victorian Mansion nestled in 15 acres of woodland and landscaped gardens with uninterrupted views across Morecambe Bay and beyond. The Deakin Suite
This light and airy room accommodates up to 120 guests in glorious, natural light-soaked style. The full-length windows command views across the gardens and Bay beyond.
There is a marble area in the stunning bay window area that can be used as a dance floor if required.
The Ballroom and Terrace Bar Lounge
Go full Gatsby in the Ballroom – a beautiful oak-panelled room with a magnificently ornate carved stone fireplace and romantic atmosphere – seating between 30 and 80 for ceremonies.
Couple the Ballroom with the adjoining Terrace Bar Lounge and you can accommodate up to 120 evening
guests, whilst still retaining an enchanting period charm. The Terrace Bar Lounge opens onto a top terrace area, boasting dramatic panoramic views over the Bay – where better for a summer drinks reception or twilight tipples before carriages?
The Library and Residents Lounge
Perfectly equipped for smaller gatherings these rooms evoke a world of wonder on their own.
