Fresh from the pages of Belle Bridal Issue 24, the most stylish edition we've magic-ed up yet, this ultra dreamy avant-garde shoot at the iconic Charlton Hall saw us trust in a group of suppliers we know and love to carry out our vision of a modern-day fairytale steeped in glamour and extravagance. Pops of shocking pink, luxury diamond-dripping vintage jewellery, statement hair and makeup with a contemporary twist, it evokes an air of traditional elegance with a rule-breaking edge that's oh-so-2022.

A VENUE OF VIBRANCE

For this brief, no venue was more fitting than Charlton Hall. Billed 'the house that plays with the rules', this uber eccentric bolthole in the Northumberland countryside provided vibrancy and class in equal measure – we mean, where else can you find a gigantic giraffe head hanging above a sweeping Victorian oak staircase?

GOWN GOALS

Making use of the diversity of spaces on offer, our model worked her magic adorned with super stylish garments and accessories from some of our friends in the industry. Fashion came to the fore with gowns from Alice Elizabeth, Accent Original Bridal and Ellison Gray Bridal, all part of our wedding supplier Guest List community, while that showstopping pink tulle number was courtesy of Millia London.

SWEET SEDUCTION

Providing all the gourmet cake credentials, Hannah from Botanical Cakes, also on our Guest List, handcrafted a glorious four-tiered cake with pink wafer paper and floral detailing. The yummiest centerpiece that nailed this brief.

BELLE BEAUTY

When it came to the glam, there was no squad more fitting than the duo of Amanda Bell Elite Makeup Artist and Tina Elliott Hairstyling. The pair worked in tandem to create a gorgeous statement look that oozed modern romance, using the brand new L'Oreal x Elie Saab nude collection, a seamless collab between two titans of their trade.

We were one of the first bridal magazines in the WORLD to use these pretty products, and the results were flawless.
