Our Editor worked alongside Marketing Director Rachel Barlow to create a day-to-night wedding journey at this incredible boutique wedding venue, which included a peek of their brand new refurbished bridal suite.

Set amidst eight acres of stunning Northumberland countryside, Ellingham Hall is a splendid example of stunning architecture, boasting extraordinary modern touches and stylish interiors and is the ultimate two-night, award-winning wedding experience.

The overall look gave inspiration to the shoot name: A Modern Fairytale.

The Bridal Fashion

We chose a selection of big blousy and incredibly beautiful 2021 bridal gowns from Newcastle-based bridal boutique Si Bridal and crowns from brand new London-based accessories designer Caped and Crowned.

Constance, our model, completed her own bridal makeup and hair due to Covid19 regulations.

We wanted, in particular, to showcase the seamless yet magnificent ceremony to reception style changes available to couples within our beautiful chapel, whilst also photographing unseen areas of the venue that I know are particularly dazzling - Rachel Barlow, Ellingham Hall

Venue Styling and Luxe Details

Wild and Wonderful styled the aisle for the ceremony in the chapel and also the round tables afterwards for the reception look. The end result? A dreamy palette of pale pinks, white and pink orchids and natural hues created a statement yet elegantly rustic look, with fronds of pampas grass relaxing the overall vibe.

Tables were elegantly set with gold candles and elevated centerpieces carrying on the same colour palette as the brief. White Orchid Print and Design completed the overall styling with elegant pale pink and nude stationery and seating plans, embossed with gold leaf.
