Upon my recent visit to the South Causey Inn, I stayed in the American Trilogy cottage and it was like nothing I had ever experienced before. While the outside of the cottage was impressive enough with a private dining area and state-of-the-art hot tub, little did we know that we were about to be blown away with what was waiting inside.
It was like standing in the middle of a Vegas strip. As soon as we inserted our key card the entire room lit up highlighting all of the American-inspired decor. From the Statue of Liberty light and pictures of Elvis and Marilyn Monroe to car bumpers and the giant headboard that took the form of a Ford Mack truck, every inch of the cottage was covered in some form of American memorabilia.

Even with a Queen-sized bed the room itself was incredibly spacious. While the bedroom and conjoined living area boasted rustic aesthetics such as a double wooden wardrobe with matching vanity table and bedside cabinets, the bathroom was modern with contemporary features. With a double Jacuzzi bath and a flat screen TV that’s built into the wall, the stylish bathroom offered the ultimate pamper session.
Relaxing works up an appetite, and while you’re able to order room service we ventured to the venue’s restaurant to indulge in some American-styled grub - burgers and chips, although these were a more gourmet than fast-food.

It’s only a short distance from the hotel to the cottages, but inbetween you can visit the venue's piglets, duck pond, chicken hut and bunny den - definitely a place for animal lovers. We then headed back for a dip in the hot tub with a glass of fizz in hand and enjoyed the rest of our evening underneath the glistening star-filled sky.
From the interior decor to the outside setting, it’s clear the South Causey Inn has let its imagination run wild. This, coupled with a relaxing atmosphere, makes this hotel a destination venue for couples looking for an unforgettable night away.
