After a few days to recover, here is a little round-up of the Bridal Gathering action last Sunday...
We had an overwhelming response to the event and Newcastle brides turned out in their hundreds to be part of the first ever Bridal Gathering at St James Park. (Many thanks to the patient brides that had to queue on entry, we never imagined such a great turn-out!)
The day was a huge success for all of the local suppliers that made the effort to come and exhibit - most are taking bookings as a direct result of the show as this is being written!
The Belle Bridal bridesmaid area was on-hand again to help with choosing some of the most important outfits of the wedding day and the Cancer Research UK Raffle once again raised a lot of money in exchange for fabulous prizes - thank you for your support.
New to Bridal Gathering, the 'trunk sale' in Suite 206 had a stunning selection of shoes, bridal accessories and dresses at amazing clearance prices - we hope you picked up a bargain!
The fashion show started with a bang as the fabulous Betty Legs Diamond of Newcastle's Boulevard club made  a special appearance to open the 'Cool Britannia' themed show by Tyne Tees Models.
Dresses featured in the show were supplied by House of Mooshki, Eclipse Bridal, Truly Beautiful, Something Special, YAP Bridal Boutique and Mia Sposa and the amazing hair was created by the team from Hooker & Young in Newcastle.
