VENUS WAS HER NAME

Designed to enhance the ambience of this exclusive use wedding destination and elevate their party spaces, it’s a celebration of modern matrimony conceptualised and planned by MUA Laura Wells and her collaborative cast of Derbyshire wedding artisans. Utilising the Garden Room, Stables and rustic outdoor spaces, cue a narrative of pristine prettiness…

THE BRIEF

Blousy floral arches and the lightness of chiffon-draped chairs creates an altogether romantic portrait seamlessly intertwined with the ceiling wisteria in the Garden Room at Dunston Hall Estate. A beautiful faux floral arch takes centre stage by the team at Rent for Your Event, who managed and installed the styling of the whole shoot.

THE STYLING

Stationery: Known for their modern and stylish wedding stationery, this duo brought the minimal chic with monochrome designs and signage that set the cool tone

Floristry: J Austin Designs brings a flurry of perfect white roses and orchids, undone in their bouquet structure to add a wonderful textural feast for the eyes.

Hair and Makeup: Working through a thoroughly modern palette of nudes and golden tones - the bridal makeup was flawlessly dewy. Hair styling was both playful and modern with a deconstructed chignon and low bun being two of the main styles.

THE  WEDDING GOWNS

With each carefully presented outfit a nod to the wedding dress runway styles of 2024 Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week, Clare at Pearl and Eve brought goddess vibes; stunning separates, botanical ballgowns and enough sleeve action to propel any fashion-forward brides directly to her Derbyshire boutique. Styles from WTOO by Watters and Willowby by Watters. No two gowns  featured are at all similar,  testament to the diversity of styles available at this bridal bolthole (soon to boast its very own collection we are told)

BELLE LOVES

The Venus satin and lace slip combo from Willowby by Watters - embodying the grecian draping evident on all the runways this season, adore.
